How do I ensure accountability when students are working in group?

  • Provide a set of expectations in the form of either a
(1) check-list,
(2) rubric,
(3) time-line, or
(4) brochure, prior to assigning them roles.
These may be student-made or teacher-made.
  • Periodic monitoring and reminders.
  • Students within the group be assigned a role and be given individual job descriptions and expectations.
